Draft:Slumber (Band)

Slumber are an English Indie Rock band from East London. The band consists of Alex (also known as Standish), Luke Whorriskey, Isabella Eggen, Bailey Heslop, Pip Russon, and Sam Meredith. [1]

Career

The band formed in 2024, releasing their debut single, 'Julian Casablancas (I Wanna Rock a Pair Like)' in September 2024.[2] The band played their debut show at the Sebright Arms in East London in October 2024, and following the release of their debut single, were featured in So Young Magazine and BBC Music Introducing. [3]

In May 2025, the band released their sophomore single '1993 (Shake It)' which the band describes as exploring "the fun but strange way everyone romanticizes eras they weren’t actually there for." [4] The release came after sold-out shows at London venues The Sebright Arms and The George Tavern.[5] In August 2025, the band released their third single, 'Days Like These' followed by a headline show at North London venue The Lexington,[6] which has played host to a range of artists including Wunderhorse, Wet Leg, and Graham Coxon.

In February 2026, the band released 'America!' , the first single from their upcoming debut EP 'Slumber Breaks America (Attempt #1)'.[7] The band played their biggest headline show to date in April 2026 at MOTH Club, London.[8]
