Slay Squad is an American rap metal group from Rialto, California.[1][2] They featured on ASAP Rocky's album Don't Be Dumb, on the track "STFU". Their music is a blend of rap metal and hip-hop, which they describe as "ghetto metal". The group formed in 2013 and its members include Keilo Kei, Brahim Gousse, Stick, Tim Ryan, Gordo, and Queso.[3]
Career
Slay Squad performed at the Loserville Gringo Papi Tour in Mexico City, Mexico, on 29 November 2025, along with Limp Bizkit, 311, Riff Raff, and Ecca Vandal.[4][5]
They gained attention for being featured on the track "STFU", from ASAP Rocky's album Don't Be Dumb (2026), which drew mixed reviews due to their aggressive sound.[6]
The group had its origins in the local underground scene with a mixture of hardcore, hip-hop, industrial and death metal, called by themselves, in a humorous tone, "ghetto metal". Although all these aesthetic signs point to nu metal, characterizing music in such a way would not be appropriate, mainly because of the harmonic and lyrical approach.
