Comment: This draft relies heavily on sources based on interviews to support unsubstantiated assertions and puffery in Wikipedia's voice. Of the sources cited, The Nation is best and Soundcity is the worst. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 16:26, 29 May 2026 (UTC)

Early life and background
Banks grew up in Egbeda in Akowonjo, Lagos State, Nigeria.[3] In 2010, during a gap year in Kent, UK, Banks was introduced to Ashford Hospital Broadcasting Service (AHBS), which influenced his decision to pursue a career in broadcasting.[4] He returned to Nigeria and began studying at University of Lagos (UNILAG).[1] he has cited Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade, Westlife, and Michael Jackson as his musical influence.[3]
Career
Banks joined UNILAG FM, a campus radio station of UNILAG, where he served as on-air personality.[4] In 2015, he worked at Kiss FM in Abuja and later in the Lagos station which was launched in 2016.[4] In March 2019 he left Kiss FM for Soundcity 98.5 FM.
