SCP-6688
The strange cat
Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures
This anomaly is to be contained in a reinforced cell at Site-19. There are to be no cameras or visual monitors inside the containment cell. Any interaction is prohibited unless accepted by Clearance 4 or higher. Regular checks for cracks inside the concrete cell are MANDATORY via a class-d as ordered by Specialist Researcher Adam Uzan.
Description
SCP-6688's visual appearance drawn by former artist class-D Robert Smith shows it being a feline animal that looks like a domesticated black cat with human hair growing on it. Its claws have been tested to be made of human teeth. The cat can extend its jaw outwards up to 1 foot. Its max recorded speed is 113 miles per hour (161 kilometers per hour). Upon visual contact, it will infect you with an incurable parasite. 1-2 hours after the victim has been infected, the anomaly will burst out of the victim's chest. Killing the infected host. "Visual Contact" Includes videos, Direct sight, photos, AI generated photos based off descriptions.
Backstory
First discovered in 2010, when a child, around the age of 12 ran away from home and saw the anomaly from an unknown number of miles away, although proven to be over 10 miles. He was caught by local law enforcement for running away from home and brought to the local police department. He was just entering the building when the cat busted out of the boy's rib cage, the officers, horrified ran out of the building, all of them being infected via direct visual contact. They went to the nearest FBI field office and told them what happened. The FBI members did not believe them until the footage was shown. This was before AI generated imagery and video creation. The footage being viewed also infected the FBI agents. The agents immediately sent it up their chain of command. It soon reached the head of FBI, Robert S. Mueller III who then deployed 10 Federal Bureau of Investigation, Unusual Incident Unit agents to the city. They were shown the footage and also got infected. By the time any of the original local officers could be questioned the parasite had already killed them. Soon the 10 dispatched UIU agents were hit by it and died. Making no progress, Robert S. Mueller III called the SCP foundation, who then sent a mobile task force to deal with it. The mobile task force sent was MTF Tau-1, as they have prior experience with similar anomalies. They arrived in an Apache helicopter; they managed to put a cloth over their eyes as one of them bags it in a see proof bag and brings it to site 19 for study.
