Rukmini Chaitanya is a yoga instructor and spiritual teacher at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat in the Bahamas.[1][2]
Early life and education
Chaitanya graduated from Tel Aviv University with a Bachelor of Laws in 1994. Later, she received a Master of Laws and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley.
Career
Chaitanya serves as a senior staff member and personal assistant to Swami Swaroopananda who is the spiritual director of the ashram.[3] She also serves as the Director of Programming, Marketing and Development at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat.
Chaitanya teaches the Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, meditation, and yoga philosophy.[4][5] Her online courses have featured guest speakers including Dr. Vasudha Narayanan and Dr. Menas Kafatos, among others.[6]
Media appearances
In 2022, Chaitanya appeared on The Spiritually Inspired Show podcast where she discussed teachings from the Bhagavad Gita.[7][8]
