Mustapha Abdul Rahman, (18 March 1991 – 24 April 2023) known by his stage name Rudebwoy Ranking was a Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist.[1] He was active from 2012 until his death in April 2023, and was known for his strong lyrics about social issues mixed with dancehall and reggae beats.[2] He grew up in Nima, Accra, where he learned music.[3]
He started performing at concerts across Ghana in 2015 and won the Discovery of the Year award at the Bass Awards the same year.[4] In 2016, he released his first album, Elevation-Time. Over the years, he has worked with popular Ghanaian artists like Shatta Wale, Samini, and Edem.
Rahman passed away on 24 April 2023, at Ridge Hospital in Accra due to health complications.[5][6][7]
