Rick's Barbecue is owned and run by the family of Rick Lanning. Rick has been smoking barbecue since 1979. The foundation of his business is faith in God and a firm foundation in family. Rick has been driven throughout his career by this faith. According to Rick, "The success of Rick's isn't because of me. It's what God's allowed me to be part of".

Lawrenceburg, TN
Loretto, TN
Waynesboro, TN
Murfreesboro, TN
Florence, AL
Sky Park, AL
Wilson Dam, AL
Muscle Shoals, AL
The oldest location was opened in Lawrenceburg, TN in 1979. Rick's was incorporated in 1987 and opened it's first Muscle Shoals location in 1988. Rick's became a USDA inspected facility in 1989 and began selling wholesale pork to grocery stores. The newest location was opened in 2022 in Waynesboro, TN.
