Rampart-AI
Rampart-AI is a private American cybersecurity company that develops behavior-based runtime security software for applications, cloud infrastructure, and artificial intelligence systems.[1] The company was spun off commercially from Securboration Inc. in 2024, following development of the underlying platform in a government research context.[2] [3]Its products are listed on AWS Marketplace[4]and, as of 2025, the company participates in Fortinet's Fabric-Ready Technology Alliance Partner Program.[5][6]
Background
Rampart-AI operates in the field of application and AI runtime security, which addresses threats that occur after software has been deployed rather than during development.[7] This differs from static analysis tools, which examine source code before execution.[8]Rampart-AI is designed to assist organizations in managing and securing their artificial intelligence and machine learning models.[9] [10][11]The company's approach centers on observing the behavior of running software and intervening when deviations from established normal patterns are detected.[12][13]
Partnerships
In 2025, Rampart-AI joined the Fortinet Fabric-Ready Technology Alliance Partner Program, a partner ecosystem maintained by Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT), a publicly traded global cybersecurity company. The Fabric-Ready program is described by Fortinet as enabling technology partners to integrate with the Fortinet Security Fabric and develop joint security solutions.[14][15]
Rampart-AI's cloud products are available through AWS Marketplace, operated by Amazon Web Services.[16]
Leadership
Lee Krause is the Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Rampart-AI.[17] [18]He founded Securboration Inc.[19]and Audigence Inc.[20][21]and holds 10+ patents.[22]He also published several cybersecurity research papers[23] and co-wrote a book called "Recalculating for Entrepreneurs: A Practical Roadmap for Decisions That Matter."[24][25]
Jacob Staples is the Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer of Rampart-AI.[26] He holds patents in techniques for automatically parallelizing sequential software, deceptive polymorphic network architectures, and secure computing.[27][28]
