"Posed2be" (stylized in all lowercase as "posed2be"), is a song by American rapper Kashdami. It was originally released as an promotional single exclusively through YouTube, primarily on April 29, 2022, before being officially released through Kashwayz, Mercury, and Republic Records, leads as an sixth track to his second studio album World Damination, on September 22, 2022. The song was written by Kashdami and produced by Bakkwoods and Decue.
Background
Kashdami promoted the single after he released the album on an Instagram livestream.[1] He discussed the album of an comment that said "worlddamination", based on the track, leading to him changing his Instagram name; WORLD DAMINATION. The single "Posed2be" was released on a Easter Day to the album leading his audience to the promotional releases. Bringing out evolution elements of his track. The song was uploaded on YouTube.[2]
Music video
The music video was originally uploaded on April 1, 2022 on his YouTube channel. The music video takes place outside where Kashdami is walking at a train station with the sign at the middle titled KA$HDAMI. The next scene shows Kashdami goes inside the train at a dinner place where he sits beside to an lonely women. The music video was taking different directions and formations of Kashdami rapping lyrics to his song, directed by NoSoap.
