Comment: This needs evidence of critical reception or reviews to support notability. It looks like the article has been deleted several times, so there needs to be stronger coverage about the game to substantiate notability. VRXCES (talk) 03:25, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

Gameplay
People Playground is a 2D physics sandbox game in which players place humanoid figures, androids, and gorses into an environment and interact with them using weapons, explosives, vehicles, and machinery. The game lacks predefined objectives or a campaign mode, instead emphasizing open-ended experimentation. It supports user-created modifications through Steam Workshop.
Reception
According to The Gamers Library , People Playground is a "solid physics sandbox" that allows players freedom to build and destroy; the review highlighted the game's weapon variety and mod support, and stated that it lacked predefined goals.[2]
Steam Workshop incident
In February 2026, a malicious mod disguised as a performance-enhancing tool spread through the game's Steam Workshop, replacing other mods and deleting player save data.[3] Developer mestiez temporarily disabled Steam Workshop access and released a security patch on February 6, 2026. The incident was reported by GameSpot[3] and Kotaku.[4]
