History
According to UK corporate filings, Patrons Pizza Limited was incorporated on 11 April 2018.[1] Companies House lists Meral Hasanov as a person with significant control of the company.[2]
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Oxford Mail reported that Meral Hasanov offered free meals to healthcare workers and other frontline staff in the area.[3]
A Bulgarian-language profile published in 2022 profiled Meral Hasanov and described him as a Freemason.[4]
Awards and recognition
In October 2023, the Bucks Herald reported that Patrons Pizza won the Best Street Food category at The Food Awards England 2023, with winners selected by a public vote.[5] The award win was also reported by the Oxford Mail and the Herald Series.[6][7]
Operations
According to the Bucks Herald, the business offers delivery service and reported using predominantly biodegradable packaging, with some deliveries completed in hybrid vehicles. The same report stated that dough is made on the premises daily.[5]
