Prezidor Ezemweghian Porbeni (born October 4, 1989), known professionally as P.E.P or P.E.P YLS, is a Nigerian-American rapper, singer and songwriter.

Prezidor Ezemweghian Porbeni was born in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria, and is originally from Patani in Delta State. He relocated to the United States during the 1990s, where he spent much of his early life. He received his elementary, junior high, and high school education in New York. In 2006, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he studied Biology at Clark Atlanta University.^[1]

During his youth, he developed an interest in music and learned to play several instruments, including the drums, keyboard, and Guitar, primarily by ear.

P.E.P began his music career in 2013 and is associated with hip hop and Afrobeats. He released his debut mixtape, Pep Rally, in 2013. His musical influences include acts such as Drake, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and Big Sean particularly for their approach to wordplay, songwriting, and melodic composition.^[1]

P.E.P came into wider recognition in 2016 after releasing a number of singles, winning the Hip Hop Act with Potential award at the Top Naija Music Awards. He subsequently went on hiatus from music between 2016 and 2022 due to unforeseen circumstances.^[2] P.E.P resumed activity in late 2022, releasing several singles between 2022 and 2023, marking an active period in his career.^[3]

In 2024, he released his debut studio album, La Casa De Pepe, a seven-track project that included songs such as "Mbappe" and "Other Side".^[4][5]

On 20 February 2026, he released the single "Exotic" through 27 Records. The song received airplay on radio stations and was featured on curated playlists across Nigeria.^[6][7]
