Oliver James Ewing (born 3 January 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for National League club Scunthorpe United.

Club career

Early career

Ewing began his career with Fulham before being released and joined Leicester City in 2019.[2] In October that year he was named as one of the Premier League's best young players by The Guardian.[3][4] In February 2025, he joined National League North club Buxton on loan until the end of the season.[5] He was released by Leicester at the end of the 2024–25 season.[6][7]

Scunthorpe United

On 1 July 2025, Ewing signed a one-year contract with National League club Scunthorpe United.[8] He went on to score on his debut for the club on the opening day of the season, a 2–1 win away against Tamworth.[9][10]

He was called up to Wales U21 once more in March 2024 for the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification fixture against Lithuania U21 and friendly against Morocco U23.[11][12]
