Julius Makwiza (born 23 March 2002), known professionally as OCAZEY , is a Zambian singer and songwriter. He gained recognition following his 2022 viral freestyle on TikTok,[1] Its success led him to release his official debut single titled 'JAH' to modest commercial Success afterwards won best Male New comer award in 2022 at Zambian music award.
Early life
OCAZEY was born in Masala, Ndola, Zambia. He's an indigene of Luvale people Local Government Area of Zambezi,[2] and raised in Ndola where he attended his secondary education. He started writing songs at age 14.
Career
Ocazey started posting freestyles and covers on his Instagram page in 2020. In August 2023, Vasa release his official debut singles titled 'Ndi kuchalo'. In November 2023, his single 'sister velo' debut on Apple Music’s West Africa Risers Shazam Top 200 and Viral Top 50 on Spotify. In January 2024,he released his single titled 'enjoy your life' featuring fles and Trust Major
