Nomirio is an online marketplace for the trading of domain names. Founded in early 2026, the site uses a "request-based" system where buyers ask for specific types of domains instead of just browsing a list of domains for sale like other sites do.
How it works
The platform is built around a request-driven model. A buyer starts by posting a "brief" that describes the brand name they need, there industry, and how much they want to spend on the asset.
Sellers who are registered on the platform can see these briefs and then suggest domains from there portfolios. To prevent spam, the platform use a credit-based system for these suggestions, meaning sellers can only pitch a limited number of domains per request to keep quality high.
Transaction management
Nomirio use a set of rules called the Secure Acquisition & Governance (SAG) protocol. This system handles the money and the domain transfer process between different registrars.
Payments are processed using Stripe Connect integration. When a deal is agreed upon, the money is held in a separate account (sequestration) and is only released to the seller after the domain has been moved between registrars successfully.
Verification
To use the service, sellers have to go through a four-step identity check (KYC). This includes showing a government ID and a biometric "liveness" scan to confirm they are real people. The site also includes some tools for valuing domains and managing multi-currency payments for international users who trade domains globally.
