Nicholas Logothetis (born December 6, 1987) is an American businessman. He is the Vice Chairman of Libra Group and is also a co-founder of the Board of Concordia, a non-profit organization that he co-founded in 2011.

Early life

Nicholas Logothetis was born in 1987. He was educated at Salisbury School in Connecticut from 2006 to 2010.[1] He is the youngest of four sons of Greek shipping businessman Michael G. Logothetis, and his brothers are George, Constantine, and Leon.

Nicholas later attended the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University.[2][3]

Career

In 2011 Logothetis was appointed as Vice Chairman of Libra Group, a privately owned business group owned by the Logothetis Family. Also in 2011, Logothetis founded the nonpartisan nonprofit organization Concordia with his friend Matthew Swift. Concordia's founding event was their inaugural “Building Partnerships Against Extremism” conference in September 2011.[4]

By 2016 the annual conference had 2,500 participants and an annual budget of around $4 million. In 2017, he co-authored an op-ed in USA Today titled “Trump’s extreme vetting for refugees? Already here,” with immigration law expert Stephen Yale-Loehr, arguing that the U.S. refugee admissions process was already among the most rigorous in the world.

Logothetis is a Board Director of the nonprofit Seleni Institute. In 2023, Logothetis was appointed to the Board of Visitors of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.[5][6]
