Neo (Greek: neos (νέος) is a masculine given name and a surname of greek origin. It means new, fresh, recent, or revived young, and derives from the greek word néos. It is a given name for males.[1]
Popularity
In the United States, the U.S. Social Security Administration reports that Neo is the 969th most popular name in 2025.[2] In South Africa Neo is the 338th most popular name that comes from the Setswana and Sesotho languages where it also means gift or present.[3]
