Mongrels is a 2016 werewolf fiction novel by the Blackfeet Native American writer Stephen Graham Jones. It was first published in the United States by William Morrow on May 5th, 2016.
Mongrels was a finalist for the Shirley Jackson Award and the Bram Stoker Award. It was also nominated for the Best of 2016 selection of Tor.com and Book Riot.[1]
Mongrels follows the story of a family of werewolves in the southern United States as they flee from law enforcement. The family consists of an unnamed protagonist, his aunt, and his uncle.
