Molin Nuon (Khmer: ម៉ូលីន នួន; born 26 July 1993) is a Cambodian filmmaker. His screenplays have been made into many films. His debut, The Clock: Spirits Awakening, was released in Southeast Asia, while The Night Curse of Reatrei reached audiences in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and the CIS. Mannequin Wedding, a story by him, became the highest-grossing film of all times in Cambodia.[1][2][3]
Career
Born in Chbar Mon Municipality, Kampong Speu province, Molin Nuon moved to Phnom Penh after high school to pursue IT and Film at the Bophana Center. He began his career in 2016 as a screenwriter for CTN. In 2018, he joined the team at LD Entertainment KH, where he continues to produce work today.[4]

- The Clock: Spirits Awakening, the film also was screened at the Luang Prabang Film Festival in 2022[6] and at the Cambodia International Film Festival (CIFF) in 2022.[7]
- Wishing Lollipop, the film also was screened at the Cambodia International Film Festival in 2023[8] and The 5th Lancang-Mekong International Film Week in 2023 at Kunming city of the province of Yunnan, China.
- 12E, the film also was screened at the Cambodia International Film Festival in 2023.[9]
- The Night Curse of Reatrei was official selected to participate in the 13th Cambodia International Film Festival, 2nd Cambodia Town Film Festival, 10th Cambodia Asian Film Festival and 11th Luang Prabang Film Festival.[10][11][12]
- Mannequin Wedding was official selected to 3rd Cambodia Asian Film Festival.[13] The film officially selected as Cambodia’s entry for the prestigious Golden Petrel Award at 2nd Asian Art Film Festival in Macau.[14] The film has been officially selected for the 15th Cambodia International Film Festival.[15]
