• Comment: On Wikipedia, for something to qualify for an article, need to prove WP:NOTABILITY through reliable sources (not blogs or retailing websites; things like newspapers) that are independently written (not press releases or significantly influenced by company in question) that discuss the product in question in significant detail (not just brief mentions). The Style Folder (Korean: 마이브 스타일 폴더) is series of Korean Android smartphones, stylized to resemble a clamshell design of a classic mobile device, initially released exclusively for a Korean market in 2022.^[1] On the other hand, its successor, ALT Mive Style Folder 2, was developed and produced by ALT (All Life Technology), as the first product of a Japanese subsidiary shortly after its establishment.^[2] It launched on a Korean market in January 2025, shortly after the phone became available on a Japanese market on February 19, 2026.^[3] Advertised as an alternative, while capable of the same configuration as a regular phone, the device remain more portable simplistic solution,^[4] with the physical keyboard being the biggest standing out feature.

The sales of a flip-style phone increased by approximately 18% between 2021 and 2023.^[5] Consequently, although the phone was meant to appeal to the elderly who struggle with the modern touchscreens, within certain communities it became a popular choice amongst all age groups, with the sales of both models reaching 1 million units in South Korea as of early 2026.^[6]

In 2022 ALT (All Life Technology) responds to the demand from Korean carriers for a modern flip-phone, introducing the Style Folder (AT-M120). On November 18, 2022 the phone receives a KC-RRA (Radio Regulatory Approval),^[7] a mandatory certification for radio and wireless RF devices.^[8] Meeting the requirements allowed for the launch in South Korea on December 9 that year at the price 237,600 KRW (approx. $166 USD).

Powered by Android 12 Go, the Style Folder is comparable with the majority of modern applications, available for the direct download from the installed Google Play launcher or a third party developers. The phone features a 2.0GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.2.^[9]

After its predecessor's success, on January 24, 2025 the Style Folder 2 launched in South Korea, marking a significant upgrade.^[10] Making it the first product of ALT Japan (ALT JAPAN), that announce its market entry on February 12, 2026 at a conference in Tokyo.^[11]
