miniOrange Security Software Pvt. Ltd. is an Identity and Access Management company, headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra.

The company provides cybersecurity products to secure identities, access, and data across software, applications, and websites, for on-premise, cloud, and multi-tenant cloud environments.

History

miniOrange was founded in 2012 by Anirban Mukherji, who previously worked at IBM & RSA Security.

In 2013, the company switched from a part service and part product to a full-fledged product-based company.

In 2015, a major release of IAM, an SSO solution for WordPress and Atlassian ecosystems.

In 2017, miniOrange launched IAM with cloud and on-premise deployment offerings. Along with this, SSO and MFA apps for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc were listed on the Atlassian marketplace.

In 2020, miniOrange launched its first plugin for Shopify on its marketplace. Along with this new features for legacy and inhouse apps integration were added in the miniOrange IAM.

In 2021, a milestone was achieved, with 6000+ integrations in IAM.

In 2022, miniOrange introduced DLP, MDM, and PAM solutions, along with the IAM product cloud data centers in Europe, Australia and India.

In 2024, the company marked a significant achievement of 25K+ customers worldwide and launched AD Management Tools for the enterprises. In 2024 miniOrange was recognised as the “Strong Performer” in the Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer Quadrant.

In 2025, miniOrange was named "Security Product Company of the Year" at the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) Excellence Awards 2025. Also for the 2nd consecutive year miniOrange was recognized as the “Strong Performer” in the Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer Quadrant.

miniOrange conducts an annual Cybersecurity conference named “IdentityShield”. Its 4th edition featured renowned speakers like Member of Parliament, Lok SabhaHon'ble Shri. Konda Vishweshwar Reddy. It also saw an extraordinary footfall of over 5000 attendees which was started as a small conference in 2023 with a vision for cybersecurity awareness in India.
