MasterSpas
MasterSpas is an American privately held manufacturer of hot tubs and swim spas headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana.[1][2] Founded in 1996, the company operates a 614,000-square-foot facility on a 45-acre campus.[1][3] It is documented as the world's largest swim spa manufacturer and the largest hot tub manufacturer to produce 100% of its products in the United States.[2][4]
History
The company was established in February 1996 when Bob Lauter and a group of investors acquired the spa division of Fort Wayne Pools.[4][5] In 2018, the company announced a $15.3 million expansion to its Fort Wayne headquarters to increase swim spa production capacity.[3][6]
Founder Bob Lauter was inducted into the Greater Fort Wayne Business Hall of Fame in 2018.[7] In 2024, Kevin Richards was named President of the company, succeeding Terry Valmassoi, who continues to serve as CEO.[2]
Brands and Products
Master Spas manufactures several product lines focused on hydrotherapy and performance wellness:[8]
