History
MUDG was established in Stockholm in 2020 as an independent fashion label. The brand initially focused on experimental and avant-garde garments characterized by darker tones and graphic elements. Over time, its aesthetic evolved to incorporate a broader range of influences while maintaining elements of contemporary and avant-garde fashion.
Douglas M has cited various fashion designers as influences. In interviews, he has referenced American designer Virgil Abloh as a creative inspiration, particularly Abloh’s philosophy of designing with reference to youth culture and personal identity, especially Ablohs "Everything I do is for the 17-year-old version of myself" quote.
