Keven Daken (born June 27, 1973) is a Canadian country singer-songwriter, songwriter, record producer, and performer from Nova Scotia. Based in Bedford, Nova Scotia, he has released solo recordings and has written songs for multiple Canadian country artists.
Early life and career
Daken was born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, and raised in Oxford, Nova Scotia.
At age 19, he organized a benefit variety concert in Oxford in support of families affected by the Westray mining disaster.[1]
He began writing songs professionally in 2001 and later expanded into recording, producing, and live performance.
Solo releases
Daken released his debut single "Didn't We" in June 2008.
His single "Living Inside of Lonely" reached number 8 on the CICC Top 100 chart.
In 2025, his single "Country Soon" reached number 1 on the CICC Top 100 and was named a finalist in the Country category at the 2025 InterContinental Music Awards.[2]
Daken released "Brand New Truck" on March 4, 2026.[3]
