Kate Andrews (born August 28, 1994) is an American film producer and writer. She is best known for producing the 2024 feature film It’s What’s Inside, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by Netflix in one of the festival's largest distribution deals.
Career
Andrews produced the 2024 science fiction-comedy It’s What’s Inside, which premiered in the Midnight section of the Sundance Film Festival on January 19, 2024.[1]
The film was acquired by Netflix in a $17 million deal for global distribution, making it one of the most notable sales of the festival's history.[2] It was released worldwide on Netflix on October 4, 2024.[3]
In May 2024, Deadline.com reported that Andrews was producing a new installment of the 2013 science fiction thriller Coherence, collaborating with the film’s original director, James Ward Byrkit.[4]
Andrews is the founder of Boldly Go Productions, a Los Angeles–based production company that develops original film and television content.[5]
