Xiamen Joint Tech Co., Ltd. (commonly known as Joint Tech) is a Chinese company that manufactures electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).[1] Founded in 2015, the company produces AC and DC charging stations and energy storage systems.

The company operates multiple manufacturing facilities in China, Malaysia, and Turkey, and maintains service offices in the United States, Indonesia, and Brazil.[2] It has filed patents related to electric vehicle charging technologies.[3][4]

History

Joint Tech was founded in 2015 as a manufacturer of LED lighting products. In 2019, the company entered the electric vehicle industry. It launched its first commercial AC charger in 2020, and entered the North American market in 2021 after receiving ETL certification.[5][6]

The company opened a research and development center in Shenzhen in 2024,[7] and expanded its Malaysian manufacturing operations in the same year. In 2025, its products received OCPP 2.0.1 certification from the Open Charge Alliance and ISO 15118 Plug & Charge certification from Hubject.[8][9]

Products

The company's product line includes AC and DC charging stations with power outputs ranging from 22kW to 480kW, as well as energy storage systems and an Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) based maintenance platform.

Certifications and standards

The company's products hold certifications including ETL, UL, FCC, and ENERGY STAR for the North American market, and meet corresponding standards for the European market.[10][11][12]

Recognition

  • 2018: The company was designated as a "High-Tech Enterprise" by the Chinese government. [13]
