Johnny Joseph Jover is a Spanish Canadian DJ, music producer, and creative professional based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is known for his work in the electronic music project Glass Petals, a collaboration with Canadian DJ and producer Felix Cartal.
Career
Music and Glass Petals
Jover is a co-founder of the house music project Glass Petals, formed with Felix Cartal in 2018. The project has released music on multiple electronic music labels and has been covered by industry publications.Glass Petals has received coverage from electronic music publications including EDM.com and The Nocturnal Times.[1][2]
In 2020, Glass Petals released a remix of "Stress" by Justice, which was described by EDM.com as a club-oriented reinterpretation of the original track.[3]
Their single "No Words," released the same year, was featured by EDM.com, which noted its stylistic influences from 1990s house music.[1]
The duo's release "Leave Your Mind Behind" was covered by The Nocturnal Times.[2]
Glass Petals has also been featured in event coverage, including a preview of a performance published by Relentless Beats.[4]
DJ residencies
Jover has been a resident DJ at Celebrities Nightclub in Vancouver, a venue featured in local media coverage of the city's nightlife.[5]
He has also held residencies at Caprice Nightclub and The Pearl.[6][7]
Industry and design work
In addition to his music career, Jover has worked in digital marketing and brand partnerships within the industry.
