Jason Harris is an American professional drag racer best known for competing in the Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA). Harris won PDRA world championships in both the Pro Nitrous and Pro Boost categories, and he has also competed in major Pro Modified events including the Drag Illustrated Winter Series and International Hot Rod Association (IHRA).[1][2]
Career
PDRA Pro Nitrous
Harris emerged as a leading competitor in PDRA Pro Nitrous during the series' early seasons. In 2014, PDRA published coverage highlighting Harris and his car "Warbird" as pace-setters in the category, including record-setting performances during the season.[3] PDRA also reported on Harris' 2014 and 2018 championship seasons and awards recognition at the end of the year.[4]
PDRA Pro Boost championships
Harris later transitioned to PDRA Pro Boost and won multiple world championships in the class. In 2024, Competition Plus reported that Harris secured his second consecutive Pro Boost world championship and his fourth PDRA world title overall, noting earlier Pro Nitrous titles as part of his championship tally.[2] Drag Illustrated also covered Harris clinching the 2023 and 2024 Pro Boost championships.[5]
In October 2025, Drag Illustrated reported that Harris won the PDRA Brian Olson Memorial World Finals Pro Boost event for a third consecutive time at Virginia Motorsports Park.[6]
Pro Modified and Drag Illustrated Winter Series
Harris has competed in marquee Pro Modified events, including races within the Drag Illustrated Winter Series at Bradenton Motorsports Park. In December 2025, FloRacing reported that Harris won the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals Pro Mod event, qualifying No. 1 and winning the race while also discussing his PDRA championship background.[7] In January 2026, Drag Illustrated covered Harris' attempt at the Elite Motorsports Million bonus tied to Winter Series results.[8]
