Inside the Caliphate (alternatively spelt as Inside the Khilafah) is a propaganda video series produced by Al-Hayat Media Center, the media wing of the Islamic State (IS), aimed primarily at Western audiences. Launched in July 2017, Each episode serves to promote IS's ideology, showcase life under its self-declared caliphate, and incite acts of terrorism.
Episodes
The Rise of the Khilafah and the Return of the Gold Dinar is a documentary-like film produced by Al-Hayat Media Center about the creation of the Islamic State Gold Dinar and the attempt to outdo the United States Dollar and the Pound sterling.[1][2][3]
Episode 2: The Battle of Raqqa
Focused on the battle of Raqqa, featuring an Australian ISIS fighter discussing the group's military strategies.
Episode 3: Siege of Marawi
Episode 4: Singaporean Fighter's Message
A video released by Al Hayat Media Center in September 2017 featured a Singaporean foreign fighter in Syria calling on people to “Join the ranks of the Mujahidin in East Asia, and inflict black days upon the crusaders. Otherwise, make your way to Sham [Syria], Khurasan, Yemen, West Africa, and Libya.”[4]

Legal Actions
In 2021, Mohammed Khalifa, a Canadian citizen, was charged by the U.S. Department of Justice for his role in producing and narrating English-language ISIS propaganda videos, including the Inside the Caliphate series. He was accused of providing material support to a terrorist organization.[5]
