Inercomp GmbH is an Austrian energy consulting and software company based in Vienna. Founded in 2008, it operates in energy-market consulting and develops software tools for market analysis and portfolio management.
History
Inercomp was founded in 2008 by Felix Diwok.[1]
In 2020, PowerBot GmbH was founded as a spin-off from Inercomp.[2][3] In 2024, PowerBot was acquired by Volue.[4][5]
Organization
The managing directors are Matthias Kisslinger and Manuel Giselbrecht.[6] The company’s leadership team also includes founder Felix Diwok and Christoph Zehetner, Head of Consulting & Customer Solutions.[7]
Activities
Inercomp operates in energy-market consulting and software development.[8][9] According to its consulting pages, it works with industrial energy consumers, producers, suppliers and utilities.[10] Its software offering is marketed under the name eTools and includes modules for portfolio management, renewable-energy valuation, load-profile analysis and market data.[11]
Public profile and external contributions
An energy-price analysis published by EcoAustria in 2022 stated that it had been prepared with technical support from Inercomp, including support in developing the calculation methodology and providing data.[12]
In a 2025 expert report prepared by E-Control on behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism, the authors used quarterly futures forecasts and expected specific revenues supplied by Inercomp in their market-price projections.[13]
Representatives of Inercomp have been quoted in media reports on Austrian electricity-market design and electricity prices.[14][15]
