Ibrahim Galal Ibrahim Shaaban (Arabic: ابراهيم جلال ابراهيم شعبان) FICE FIStructE (12 December 1962 - April 2025) was a Professor of Structural Engineering at West London University. He was head of the university's Civil Engineering department. Born in Cairo, he spent much of his academic career in the United Kingdom, and adopted British citizenship. He died in April 2025 after a road accident in Shepherd's Bush, London, involving a modified e-bike.
