The iPhone 18 Pro is an upcoming smartphone to be developed and marketed by Apple that will be part of the twentieth generation of the iPhone. It is expected to be announced alongside an 'iPhone Ultra' at an Apple Event at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, in fall 2026.[2][3][4] It will be the first iPhone to be completely developed under the guidance of John Ternus and the last iPhone to be overseen by Tim Cook.
Design
The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to share the same design with minor thickness changes.[5] It is expected to be available in four colors:[6]

Specifications
Chipset
The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to use an A20 Pro system on a chip,[citation needed] coming with 12 GB of RAM.
Display
The Pro is expected have a 6.3-inch (160 mm) display (2622×1206-pixel resolution) and the Pro Max is expected to have a 6.9-inch (180 mm) display (2868×1320-pixel resolution) with a smaller "Dynamic Island" cutout than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.[5]

Connectivity
The Pro is expected to use the new 5G over satellite infrastructure using Apple’s C2 modem.[7]
Battery
The iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max will feature a 4,056 mAh for the 18 Pro and 4,288 mAh for the Pro Max.[8]
Release
Pre-orders for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected in September 2026.[2]
