House of Angular is a Polish software development and IT consulting company founded in 2011 in Warsaw by Daniel Mikucki and Grzegorz Lipke, specializing in developing web systems and business applications for clients both in Poland and internationally.[1]
History
Founding years
House of Angular started in 2011 under the name "ValueAdd." In the beginning, it was a two-person company, including its current CEO, Daniel Mikucki (senior developer, IT graduate from the University of Gdańsk),[2] and its current CTO, Grzegorz Lipke (senior developer, Computer Science graduate from PJATK University and IT Management graduate from SGH Warsaw School of Economics).[3]
Between 2013 and 2016, the company completed mostly large-scale front-end projects, including administrative panels and internal systems for businesses, using primarily AngularJS.
After the global shift from AngularJS to Angular, the company began working with the newer version of the framework. Their focus shifted towards application development, conducting audits, performing code reviews, and taking over existing projects.
Rebranding and specialization
In 2019, the company rebranded as House of Angular, dedicating itself exclusively to Angular development. During this period, their team grew to around a dozen developers, and the company expanded its operations into the European and North American markets.
As of March 2026, House of Angular employs approximately 30 Angular developers, architects, and technical leaders.[4] So far, the company has completed over 50 big-scale software development projects. Its tech team currently features two Google Developer Experts: Mateusz Stefańczyk[5] and Fanis Prodromou.[6]
Awards
At the NG Poland 2021 conference, House of Angular was recognized as the Angular Hero of Community at the NG Awards ceremony.[7]
In 2025, the Team Leader and Angular Expert at House of Angular, Mateusz Stefańczyk, recieved the title of a Google Developer Expert for Angular by Google.
Scope of work
House of Angular operates as a provider of Angular-related services for B2B and enterprise organizations. Its primary services include:
- Angular consulting
- Angular development
- Legacy app migration to Angular (especially AngularJS to Angular)
- Modernization and maintenance of enterprise applications
- Architecture, performance, and security audits
- AI-assisted development
As of March 2026, they serve the European, UK, and US markets.[8]
Education
Since 2025, House of Angular has also been offering Angular workshops covering architecture, performance, Modern Angular, Angular Signal Forms, and NgRx Signal Store (as of March 2026).
House of Angular also provides free resources for Angular developers and technical leaders, including ebooks, guides, blog posts, case studies, and webinars, available on their website and social media channels.
Community contributions
In 2021, House of Angular launched a scholarship program for young developers called "Akademia Angular." The program aimed at junior developers with a basic level of Angular knowledge.[9]
In 2021, House of Angular assumed management of Angular.love—a community for Angular developers that hosts events, maintains a technical blog, and manages social media channels centered on the Angular framework. Since then, the company has sponsored its initiatives. The Angular.love community received the Angular Hero of Education award at the NG Awards ceremony 2022.[10]
House of Angular has also historically been a sponsor and partner of different events and conferences, including NgRx,[11] NG-Poland,[12][13] ng-conf, and ng-de, as well as libraries such as ngneat[14].[15]
In 2021, the company also created an open-source project called "Pimp my Pull Request," a tool for tracking pull requests (in a single dashboard) that shows which code changes are waiting for review, how long the review process takes, and where bottlenecks are forming in the team's workflow.
Publications
House of Angular has released a series of free ebooks on different Angular-related topics.
In 2024, the company, along with Angular.love, published the first edition of an ebook titled "The Ultimate Guide To Angular Evolution," which serves as an overview, describing new features, breaking changes in each version, and their impact on Angular projects. Since then, it has been updated to cover subsequent Angular framework versions.[16]
They've also released other ebooks, like "A Frontend Migration Guide" for SaaS and enterprise-scale apps"[17] or "The Angular 21 Signal Forms Handbook."
