Hocco Ice Cream is an Indian ice cream manufacturer. It is a series C company,[3] and was founded in 2019 by the members of the Chona family, Ankit Chona, Pradeep Chona, and Satish Chona.[1] The Chona family had also launched Havmor Ice Cream,[6] which has been owned and operated by Lotte Wellfood since its acquisition in 2017,[7] and run 1944 The Hocco Kitchen in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.[8] Hocco's registered office is located in Ahmedabad.[1] The company was valued at ₹2,500 crore in mid-April 2026.[5][9]

Funding

As of May 2026, Hocco has raised a total of $66.2M over 6 funding rounds: 1 Seed, 4 Early-Stage and 1 Late-Stage rounds.[10]

In May 2025, Hocco raised ₹115 Cr (around $12.9 Mn) as part of their Series B funding round, following which they were valued at INR 2,000 crore.[11] In 2026, they raised ₹100 crore (approximately $10.7 million) as part of Series C funding, following which the company is valued at ₹2,500 crore.[3][12]

Reach

Hocco launched full commercial operations in October 2023.[13]

In 2025, Hocco appeared with their mascot, Budd, at the Sunburn Festival.[14]

In 2026, Hocco set up seven parlours across Chennai.[15] In February 2026, they set up a Maha Shivratri-themed campaign in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh,[16] and, in May 2026, set up a "Cab Carnival" in Mumbai in partnership with Wrap2Earn.[17]

As of early 2026, Gujarat was the company's largest market, followed by the NCR region and Maharashtra.[9]
