Comment: There is one database source, one review (partly done by AI) and the other sources are internal to the product. Plus a direct link to HelpViewer, which isn't allowed and should be removed, links are done via references. Overall this needs better sourcing to show why this product is notable. HelpViewer is a portable tool for viewing Markdown and HTML documentation directly from ZIP archives or from a local directory where they have been unpacked.[1] No server or backend required.[2] Just open the index.html in your browser. It is MIT[3] licensed.[4] Project is developed by HelpViewer community.

Work modes
Since HelpViewer is a PWA, and no backend is required to run it, it can be used in a wide variety of situations such as:[7]
- Local help viewer from disk (with need to solve CORS restrictions[8])
- Static web hosting
- OCI (Docker/Podman) container[9]
