Comment: I suspect there will be notability here, but there are just two sources, Daily Express and GB News, both of which carry red flags under WP:RSP.Some of the text also looks like AI / LLM / chatgpt has had a go at rewording material. That said, it should not be difficult to find reliable sources, and a bit of rewording should allow this to be accepted relatively easily. I can see material is available on the BBC, Independent, Oxford Mail and other websites. ChrysGalley (talk) 16:21, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

Harriet Cowan (born 2000/2001) is a British nurse and television personality who gained prominence as a cast member on the Amazon Prime Video reality series Clarkson's Farm. The 24-year-old became widely known after stepping in as Jeremy Clarkson's farmhand during the show's fourth season, subsequently building a significant social media following.[1]
Early life and education
Cowan was born around 2000-2001. She graduated from the University of Derby in 2023 with a degree in nursing.[1] Her career trajectory took an unexpected turn toward farming and television, though she comes from a family background where both parents excel in nursing and farming professions.[1]
Career
Nursing background
Cowan is a qualified nurse, having completed her nursing education at the University of Derby in 2023.[1] Despite her television success, she maintains her nursing qualifications and has described herself as excelling in both nursing and farm work.[1]
Clarkson's Farm
Cowan joined Clarkson's Farm during its fourth season when Jeremy Clarkson hired her to temporarily replace Kaleb Cooper, who was away on a national tour.[2] Her practical farming knowledge and straightforward approach quickly won over viewers.[2]
Initially, there was tension when Cooper returned to the farm, with Cooper giving Cowan what was described as a "frosty reception". This led to some viewers calling for Cooper to be replaced. However, Cowan later clarified their relationship, telling BBC Derby: "Kaleb's amazing – me and him are so close now. He's such a good farmer and we got on really well. He's another farmer to add to my phone list to ring."[2]
With Cooper's return as farm manager, Cowan's regular role at Diddly Squat Farm ended, though she has indicated availability for future assistance. She stated: "We've always left it very open. I'm here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute."[2] Jeremy Clarkson expressed his appreciation for her contributions, telling The Sun: "I loved Harriet to bits and I wish her all the very best. She was fantastic to have around. But the truth is, we've got Kaleb… If I can't manage, I'll call Harriet in a heartbeat."[2]
Media career and social media
Social media success
Following her television debut, Cowan experienced substantial growth in her social media presence. By June 2025, she had accumulated 700,000 followers on TikTok.[1] In a video posted from her caravan, she expressed amazement at her rapid rise to fame, describing the attention as "insane" and expressing gratitude to her supporters.[1]
Cowan revealed she was "300,000 off a million" followers and stated that reaching one million would leave her "in shock forever".[1] She humorously attributed her unexpected fame to "just from cutting some eyebrows and driving some tractors".[1]
YouTube channel venture
In June 2025, Cowan announced plans to launch a YouTube channel in collaboration with her partner James, focusing on documenting daily farm life.[1] She outlined her vision for the platform: "I just want it to be a positive environment where people can chat, and ask questions, and learn from it - that's the base of what I want to do. And then hopefully it'll grow into something where we've got a lovely little community."[1]
Despite expressing initial hesitation and self-doubt about the venture, Cowan indicated that if there was sufficient audience interest, she hoped to launch the channel "in the next couple of weeks".[1]
Professional representation
In June 2025, Cowan signed an exclusive representation deal with Off Limits Entertainment, a prominent talent agency.[2] The agency announced the partnership on Instagram, describing Cowan as "one of the most exciting new voices in British farming" and praising her "wit, agricultural knowledge, and growing influence on social media".[2] Off Limits Entertainment expressed excitement about representing Cowan and supporting her "on this new and exciting journey".[2]
Personal life
Cowan is in a relationship with James, who is planned to be her collaborator on her proposed YouTube channel.[1] She has shared glimpses of their relationship on social media, describing him as someone she wants to be with "forever".[1]
Public reception
Cowan's appearance on Clarkson's Farm generated significant fan support, with many viewers calling for her return to the show, particularly after Kaleb Cooper sustained a fractured ankle.[2] Her authentic approach to farming and personable on-screen presence have contributed to her popularity among the show's audience.
