HUb Strategy and Communicationis an advertising, design, and production studio based in San Francisco, California. [1]
History
HUb Strategy and Communication was founded in 2002 by DJ O’Neil. The agency is based in San Francisco, California. The company is still independently owned and operated by DJ O'Neil and partners Ryan Scheiber and Ernest Leo.[2] Previous partners included Peter Judd and Teresa Herd.
The agency is best known for their use of humor in their multi-media campaigns. Some of their most prominent work includes their eight seasons advertising campaign for The Oakland Athletics featuring the slogan "green collar baseball" [3] and their work on the Eat24 Super Bowl Ad featuring Snoop Dog.[4]
HUb's work for the Monterey Bay Aquarium earned them a Guinness World Record for the world's largest recycled plastic sculpture from the life-sized whale made from recycled plastic they designed for the campaign.[5]
Other notable campaigns have been for Blue Shield of California [6], Stanford Children's Health [7], and the San Francisco 49ers. [8]
