Every Silvertone 1448 came with a built-in amp inside the case

A guitar case is a hard wooden case primarily designed to protect, store, and carry a guitar. A guitar case is different from a gig bag because its outside is a hard shell rather than a soft, padded shell.[1] A guitar case is used for extra protection for a guitar. Some guitar cases, like the one in a Silvertone 1448 guitar, come with a built in amp for easy portability.
