Grant Rotolo is an American aircraft designer responsible for helping design an ultralight aircraft called the "Boomer I" that was built out of scrap from a junkyard. This aircraft (now scrapped) was often called the "Hill Billy Park Flyer"

The first aircraft he designed was a complete fail and was destroyed to make the new model "Boomer I" that had its maiden flight on April 15th, 2013. The flight lasted about 15 minutes when he safely landed back on his grass strip.
