Glasswing Ventures is an American venture capital firm headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 2016, the firm invests in early-stage enterprise artificial intelligence, frontier technology, and cybersecurity companies.[1][2] As of November 2025, Glasswing manages approximately $473 million in assets.[3]
History
Glasswing Ventures was founded in 2016 by Rudina Seseri and Rick Grinnell, who previously worked together at Fairhaven Capital.[4][5] The firm was established to focus on enterprise software and security companies developing artificial intelligence and other frontier technology products.[4][5] The firm's investment team also includes Managing Director Kleida Martiro.[6]
In July 2018, Glasswing closed its first fund at $112 million.[7] In September 2022, it closed a second fund at $158 million.[1] In November 2025, the firm closed its third fund at $203 million.[2][8]
The firm operates two advisory councils: the Connect Council, composed of business leaders and AI specialists who assist portfolio companies with enterprise adoption, and the Protect Council, which specializes in cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and risk management.[9][10] As of 2026, the combined advisory network comprised over 70 members.[10]

Glasswing Ventures primarily invests in pre-seed and seed stage enterprise artificial intelligence, frontier technology, and cybersecurity companies.[1][5] Business Insider has described the firm as prioritizing companies that incorporate machine learning into their core products from the outset.[5]
Notable investments
The firm has invested in companies including Black Kite,[11] Verusen,[12][13] Ship Angel,[14] and Realm Security.[15]
Notable exits include Atlantic Quantum, a developer of superconducting quantum hardware, which was acquired by Google Quantum AI in October 2025;[16] Common Sense Machines, a generative AI company specializing in three-dimensional asset creation, which was acquired by Alphabet Inc. in January 2026;[17] and TensorStax, an agentic AI platform for data pipeline engineering, which was acquired by Snowflake Inc. in February 2026.[18]
