Geeta Jhala Geeta Jhala is an Indian singer and composer associated with Gujarati, Hindi, and Punjabi music. She gained wider public attention after performing the Indian national anthem at the ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 held at The Oval in London. [1][2] Early life Geeta Jhala was born in London, United Kingdom, to Indian parents. [3] Career Geeta Jhala has worked as a singer and composer in independent music as well as film-related projects. She contributed to the title track of the Hindi film Welcome Back (2015). [4] She has collaborated with singer Mika Singh on the song “Saajan”. [5] In addition to her work in Hindi and Punjabi music, she has released Gujarati-language songs such as “Dil Ne” and “Patodu”.[6][7] Her performance at the ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 received coverage in multiple media outlets.
