Full Squad, also known as Full Squad Gaming [1](abbreviated FSG[2]), is a content brand launched by NRG Esports in December 2020.

History

In December 2020, NRG Esports announced Full Squad content brand. Debutting with Play Yourself, the brand was made to focus on casual gaming.[1] NRG CEO Andy Miller noted that these hires are specifically intended to elevate the brand's community engagement and double down on their mission to create relatable content for casual gamers. The brand hired high-profile figures like Jake Lucky to lead coverage.[3] In September 2023, former 100 Thieves members, Classify and Avalanche, signed and joined Full Squad, after disbanding The Mob in 2021.[2][4][5] In October 2023, Full Squad partnered with Ford to create the "Gamer Van."[6] In March 2024, NRG and Full Squad secured a partnership with Samsung Galaxy, launching a North American college tour.[7] According to Esports Insider, Full Squad partnered with Rockstar Energy.[8]
