FreeCam mode

FreeCam mode in Roblox Studio is an exclusive Point Of View (POV) made only for Roblox Studio and games who support Camera Control. For activation you should type "Shift" + "P" and to get out of it you should do the same as to enter it. It really feels like "Toggle Server View" but it's made only when you actually load into the game.

For what it could be used?

FreeCam mode can be used for pretty much things. Here are some examples:

  • Content Creation (Can be used for parodies, documentaries, tutorials and etc.)
  • Development Testing (Because it really helps the future creators analyze bugs that don't require their character walking into).
  • Real-time Learning (Instead of the boring static normal mode, this is interactable because it's rendered real-time.)

Can it solve bugs?

Short answer: Yes, it can. Bugs can be fixed by it, because of the real-time rendering, it's going to be way easier to find numerous glitches and errors while developing your future hit.

Compatibility and limitations

In this world, everything has limitations (even the FreeCam mode in Roblox Studio). For Roblox Studio you would need a device that supports it (Personal Computer/Laptop). Sadly for mobile, console and etc. you simply can't use it, because it's exclusive only to platforms that have keyboard and mouse (and don't connect to your mobile a keyboard and/or mouse, because it doesn't change your current hardware/operational system inside of it).

Is it useful for the average user?

Short answer: Debatable because some people can be developers while others can be consumers (people who don't create games and only play them). Even for developers, they prefer how they can use this mode. The other reason why this is debatable is because people are different on sensation, taste and seeing the world so that's why it's important to respect anyone you see in your life.
