'Emily Howlett (born 18 November) is an English actress. She is Bilingual, using both British Sign Language (BSL) and spoken English. Emily has been profoundly deaf since childhood. She is best known for playing Janet in British anthology series Inside No. 9.

"My life isn't about me being deaf. It's just my life and it just happens that I'm deaf."

Howlett participates in horse riding and show jumping.
