Die young is a first-person survival horror game, following the story of a young woman trapped on a small island in the Mediterranean after boating there with friends. A large part of the game was centred on problem/puzzle solving, and discovering new areas. There were specific “bosses” in areas like the pinewood or temple ruins. The game was released September 12th 2019th. The game was considerably successful making 850,000$ and selling over 75,000 copies despite only having a modest budget and small team. The game was both praised and criticized for its unique gameplay and story.
