After a decade of ups and downs in the music scene, D$ took a hiatus in 2010, following a personal setback. However, an unjust firing from his job reignited his passion, leading to the release of Today’s Yesterday and Yesterday’s Tomorrow, two EPs exploring themes of memory and identity. His 2024 album For the Record marked a deeper dive into his personal struggles and social commentary, while In Business (2025) showcased his evolving sound.
