Draft:Console output

Console output refers to any information a computer sends to be displayed on a screen, including text, images, or other visual data. Originally, the console was a simple visual device that could only display characters, rather than graphics. In early computing, a computer terminal combined a keyboard for input and a CRT (cathode-ray tube) screen for output. Users typed commands on the keyboard, and the terminal displayed the results on the screen, which was often called the console. Over time, the console evolved from a purely character-based display to one capable of showing more complex output, but its main purpose remained to provide a direct interface for input and output between the user and the computer.
