Che Kothari (born 12 October 1983) is a Canadian-based photographer, director, producer, organizer, manager, Instigator, artist, and[1][2] advanced diver.[3][4]
Biography
Kothari was born 12 October 1983.[5] He studied at Ryerson University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.[4][6]
Kothari began as a photographer in Toronto, capturing intimate portrait sessions with artists including Nas, Erykah Badu, Ashanti, Ice Cube, Common, and others.[3][4][7]
In 2007, he co-founded and directed the nonprofit organization Manifesto Community Projects.[1][2][5][6] He also co-founded Hightop Studio.[8] He is also the founder of Gifted Management and co-founder of BeautifulCity.ca.[9][6]
In 2013, he received the Toronto Arts Foundation Award.[1][10]
