Big Randy was a professional football player from Burundi. He was born on the 1st of January 1970 in the northern tribe of Burundi. He played for the Burundi national team and The Biggys Pro Clubs Football Club. He was a father to one son known as Small Randy JR.
He begun his footballing career as a centre back in the lower leagues of Burundi. Because of his tribes motto 'football is life' he was forced to play from just 2 months of age. At the beginning of his career he was nothing special, he bounced around teams within the lower Leagues and was usually overshadowed by his teammates. This all changed in 2025 when he transferred to The Biggys.
His time at the Biggys was truly remarkable. He turned his career around and as a striker helped the Biggys get promoted to Division 4 with help from Al Abdullah and other players on the team. Big randy would slow down in his abilities unfortunately and the team was relegated back to Division 5.
This was when Randy decided to transition into Big Randetta. This begun an era of domination for the biggys, eventually leading up to them making it to Division 3. Randetta then transitioned back into Big Randy and would slow his abilities down.
The team was in a dark state, back in Division 5 when Big Randy decided to retire. As is customary for members of the Northern Burundian Footballing Tribe, Big Randy was executed hours later. Big Randy passed away in the presence of his loving family in Northern Burundi on the 5th of April 2026.
