Baseball South Australia is the governing body of baseball within South Australia. Baseball South Australia is governed by the Australian Baseball Federation. It's office is located at West Beach Diamond Sports SA Inc, West Beach, South Australia.

In 1888-89 South Australia was introduced to baseball by two touring American teams (Chicago and All-American). The South Australian baseball season commenced in summer of 1889, after the inaugural Annual General Meeting in April 1889 by eight clubs Survey, Norwood, North Adelaide, Port Adelaide, Padlocks, Post & Telegraph, Goodwood and Engineering in Chief Department. With the season starting on 1st September 1889.

It runs all metropolitan and regional leagues in South Australia. It also picks teams for senior, intermediate and junior national championships. These teams include the Charter Teams of Adelaide Marlins (East Torrens, Gawler, Golden Grove Central Districts, Kensington, Northern Districts, Port Adelaide), Adelaide Rays (Adelaide, Henley & Grange, West Torrens, Woodville), Adelaide Seahawks (Glenelg, Goodwood, Southern Districts, Sturt).

Metro

Men State League, which has seven divisions (1-5 and 6 Blue and 6 Red) as well as masters. Women's League, which has three divisions. Youth League which has Under 18, Under 16 (2 divisions), Under 14 (2 divisions), Under 12 (2 divisions), Under 10 (2 divisions), Under 8.
